Lake Augustines is a privileged lake, where you can fish for walleye, lake trout and pike. For 35 years, the owners of the outfitter, aware of its value, have been careful to preserve the quality of these waters and fish. The loyalty of our customers testifies to this.
Since 2011, the new walleye regulation has enhanced the quality of fishing. By preserving large specimens, we have seen positive changes since 2015. More than 50% of the trophies released are 24 inches or more, compared to 20% at the beginning of the new regulation. Fishermen are pleased to see that the walleye population is healthy.
A bathymetric map is available to help people who do not know the lakes. It is also possible to obtain one at little cost.
We strongly recommend releasing large walleyes 24 inches (61 cm) and more, pikes 38 inches (96.5 cm) and more) and lake trouts 30 inches (76 cm) or more. Gifts are given to participants and a one-week stay ($ 725) adds an interesting incentive as the top prize.
